Pakula Shell Range
PAKULA SHELL RANGE RELEASED FEBRUARY 2026
The heads are made from our Softease material, a medium density Polyurethane. The heads are tinted as we’ve had from day one in the Pakula Original Range, plus our latest UV and CAT additives. The Inserts are a real shell laminate, which we’ve made Lumo glow blue, the same Lumo we use in our fish print skirts and mudflaps.
– The front of the inserts is Lumo pink, and after around 50 years of making lures, we’ve put the lure code on the underside strip of the lure, and the strip is Lumo Green.
– All of the heads have a new keeling innovation. We’ll call it MAX keel or X Keel for short. We’ll keep what that is quiet for a while.
– This new range will replace the Original Range, which we will no longer produce, but we do have a significant amount of stock. Once they are gone, there will not be any more. Once the new range is finished, it will replace the Paua Head range. That will be at least a year, maybe two or maybe more. – The Paua Jet Range, which is our premium range, will remain in production for the foreseeable future.
